Daniel Gould is a Venture Partner for Asymmetry Ventures, and the co-chair of the Digital Entertainment and Media group at the Band of Angels. He was earlier a Founding Partner in the DVC syndicate. Mr. Gould has made over 100 angel investments and led over 100 AngelList syndicate deals. He maintains a Substack newsletter with his investing thoughts here.

Previously, Mr. Gould was the product manager for the first online radio subscription at MusicMatch (MusicMatch MX), led the business development team for the first online live TV subscription (PlayStation Vue), founded an online market research company (SphereMedia), a recording studio (Vent Studios) and a record label (Wax Orchard), and was an early consultant at Redfin. Mr. Gould was also a former attorney at Greenberg Traurig, representing TV networks in their distribution deals with MVPDs and digital video platforms. For the last decade, Mr. Gould has worked in business development roles at Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, Sony and Roku. Mr. Gould holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Music, Science & Technology from Stanford.
